Let's Change 47 "fun"raiser together
47 is the average life expectancy of people who are homeless. Hundreds of people lose their life each year on the streets of Australia. This is a National emergency and needs to change.
We have pledged to Change 47 by raising funds to support a new Beddown venue in Brisbane. Beddown isn't just a safe place to sleep, it's a health and social response giving people access to a range of services that are life changing.
Help me change lives and save lives by making a donation of $47. It tax deductible, so get in before 30 June.
Please note: Establishing a Beddown venue in a particular region is subject to finding a suitable location, Council approvals and availability of enough donated funds to establish the venue. By supporting a regional team you are indicating a preference for a Beddown venue in a particular region. If the fundraising target is not reached for a region, donations may be held until the target is reached or donations allocated to establishing a Beddown venue in Queensland. I have never been homeless. However I have been a struggling, single mother. My adult son has had some years struggling with his mental health. Fortunately I could afford to keep him housed and seeing mental health professionals as he navigated his difficult times and he has managed to turn his life around. I understand there are many out there who aren't as fortunate and do no have a stable roof over their head. This innitiative which you're so passionate about will change lives. I feel honoured to help in a small way with my donation.💞
